Rahul is awesome. Surgery is not.
July 12th, 2006 by SarahFirst, I just want to say how nice it is to come home to a husband that rubs your feet. Especially when he is also a husband that calls to figure out health insurance for Le Bebe, investigates dental plans, rescues dinner and cleans the bathroom (and that last one at 5:30 in the morning, no less!). And all that just in one day.
Surgery still sucks. I was there for 12 hours today. By the end of the day I wasn’t just daydreaming about wheelchairs, I was actually envying the people who were passed out on the operating table.
It’s really not good when your “day job” makes major surgery look inviting.
