Woosh-Swoosh-Woosh-Swoosh-Woosh-Swoosh

Huh. I started writing this weeks ago and never posted it…
Well, I guess a re-write is in order.
As a follow-up to Sarah’s post from a way back, I just wanted to write about my experience hearing the heart beat for the first time. When the microphone-speaker-thingy was put up to Sarah’s little belly, it sounded like what the depths of space sound like in sci-fi movies… Swoosh… Woosh… Swoosh… Woosh…
Slowly the doctor moved the m-s-t until we finally heard the heartbeat: swooshwooshswooshwooshswooshwoosh… which actually sounded more like a rapid tapping sound.
It was amazing and exciting, and made everything feel all-the-more real.
I’ve also started making that face in that’s in the header again.
‘Cause that’s how I feel… ‘cept more amazed.
