Just finished my pediatric week at a private clinic and had a great time! I was actually with a “med-peds” doctor, a specialist that is board-certified in Internal Medicine and pediatrics. They see all ages of patients (just like family medicine docs), but are different from family medicine because they don’t do OB/Gyn or surgery and get way more pediatric training. Very cool specialty.

Anyway, had a great time! The doctor I was with was only about 4 years older than me, is married with 3 1/3 kids (cause she is pregnant like me!) and seemed to have a great life. So nice. She let me interview patients and do pap smears and stuff.

Also–Rahul is back from California! He was gone for 10 days and I missed him. But in just three 1/2 weeks we’ll be stuck together in the middle of nowhere, so getting space for a minute was probably good.
