You know you’re in rural Nebraska when…

Hello from Gordon! Just a few things I’ve noticed in the last few weeks:
1. The beef selection in the supermarket is better than the produce.
2. Patients aren’t “admitted to the hospital,” they’re “put to bed.”
3. “Dinner” is at noon and “supper” is at five.
4. Over half of your trauma cases involve some sort of livestock.

Ooookay…so I kinda slacked off here (again). I haven’t given poor baby an update in a month! And now baby is SO FREAKING BIG. I can see and feel it moving so much.
Anyway, what’s baby doing, you ask? Well, other than running around like a ferret on my insides, baby is currently:

Baby’s First Vacation

Well fans…haven’t written in a while. Made the big move from Omaha to Gordon a week and a half ago and have been busy busy at the clinic ever since. So far, the hours have been long but interesting (vs. the long and BORING times in surgery). Having a great time here so far.
