Baby’s First Vacation
November 5th, 2006 by SarahWell fans…haven’t written in a while. Made the big move from Omaha to Gordon a week and a half ago and have been busy busy at the clinic ever since. So far, the hours have been long but interesting (vs. the long and BORING times in surgery). Having a great time here so far.
Anyway, Rahul and I found some time this weekend for a quick trip up to the Black Hills of South Dakota. We left yesterday morning and spent 30 hours in some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. I loved it! We went to Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore, and spent the night in a great little bed and breakfast. No tourists, beautiful blue skies, gorgeous weather, lots of wildlife and gooooood company. It really couldn’t have been more perfect. Even baby had a good time, I think.
Fun times in action:
