All you have to do is get through labor and delivery. My doctor told me "any day now" and I didn't have the baby for 5 weeks. As long as you have the diapers and carseat ready you can just relax. It certainly didn't happen just because I had a baby. So I thought when Abigail started being able to call me Mom I would then feel like one. No, that didn't really happen either. I can't say when it really happened but it just took a long time to *feel* like a Mom. Now with a little kid, a toddler, and baby #3 on the way, it's all I feel like most of the time. But it's ok. I love it. People would ask Joel and me all the time if we were "ready" for the baby to come. Never! I was never ready for the baby to come. I wanted to get in one more movie with Joel, or just get one more full nights rest, or just have my own time. Cherish your time together. But just know that those people who say, "your whole life will change when you have your baby" are weird. My relationship with Joel didn't really change because he was still number one to me. Priorities just become different. Okay, sorry enough of my rant. Just random bits of information before she comes.
