I called my parents this morning to let them know that nothing was happening yet (as littlebabygirl is due today), but they were in the middle of dealing with the refrigerator… which was leaking water. A lot of water.
A portentous torrent?

I have had the (almost) exact same conversation at least a dozen times over the last week:
“Ohh, you’re expecting? When is the Baby due?”
“Ummm…I dunno. Now. Any day now.”
“No! You really don’t look that big. I would have said 6 or 7 months.”
“Oh yeah? (awkward pause) Er, well I’ve heard that with your first Baby [...]

Well fans, here we are. Ready to roll. Rahul and I got a lot of stuff done this weekend (read: me in crazy nesting mode) and the end result? We are READY.
Well…as ready as you can ever be for this, I suppose. I am sure all of you out there with kids are laughing [...]

Now, I won’t say our tournament is quite as prestigious as, say, Wimbledon, but with over 70 voters, I must say it was a more successful tournament than I had expected.
