Well fans, here we are. Ready to roll. Rahul and I got a lot of stuff done this weekend (read: me in crazy nesting mode) and the end result? We are READY.

Well…as ready as you can ever be for this, I suppose. I am sure all of you out there with kids are laughing at the idea of first-time parents being “ready.” Ha ha. Whatever. Let’s DO IT!

We thought maybe Baby was going to come yesterday–would have been a good day. We tried coaxing, bribing and pushing on my belly, but Baby was just too smart to be fooled/convinced. So she’s still in there, happily snuggled up against my ribs and stomach (though at least she has dropped down a bit so I can actually breathe).

In the meantime, Rahul and I have been eating pizza, watching racy TV, going out to happy hour and running to Village Inn for pie and fries at 11pm. In other words, having a very good time just being the two of us. It’s so weird that soon there is going to be a third person that LIVES here.
