Unfortunately, none of the pictures show Rahul crawling around on the ground with my sister’s professional-quality camera, snapping pictures like something out of Zoolander.

And, as it turns out, we are going to go on Baby’s First Vacation in May…so the bathing suit won’t be so uselessly cute after all. I mean, without it, what would Baby wear poolside? It would have been a real dilemma.

Look again….you missed the happy moments…you would have had to be there for the “shoot.” (though the best was watching proud papa snap pictures at all angles.) My favorite was her quiet stillness when she first saw the world through her shades in photo one. Photo two..her lounge chair. Photo three…”is there a snack in here for me…just checking.” Photo four…moments of quiet wonder as she noticed the sunlight on mama.s umbrella. Photo five…but a girl has to have lunch. Photo six..papa knows.
Tatiana proudly voted for photo one for the cover of Beatuful Baby..it shows off her neckline.

Very smart of you to appear uninvolved in every picture except the one where she’s blissfully free of sunglasses and oversized cocktail umbrella. When she’s older, and the less sensitive members of the family are using these pictures to embarrass her, you can always claim you didn’t know about this. Or that you put a stop to it.

it’s painfully cute that she doesn’t look happy in any of the pictures…. except the one where rahul’s holding her. *there*, she looks quite content.
