This might sound kind of silly (since the countdown over on the right says baby is coming in just 44 days…), but I actually forget that I have a belly lately.
And I sure DO have a belly! It’s gotten so big that people I don’t know (um, well…everyone actually) can tell that I am pregnant. [...]
We had a second ultrasound today just to check in on Baby. Our quad screen AFP level was slightly elevated, so our OB doc thought a third trimester look was a good idea, just to make sure that Baby was growing well.

Hello from Gordon! Just a few things I’ve noticed in the last few weeks:
1. The beef selection in the supermarket is better than the produce.
2. Patients aren’t “admitted to the hospital,” they’re “put to bed.”
3. “Dinner” is at noon and “supper” is at five.
4. Over half of your trauma cases involve some sort of livestock.

Ooookay…so I kinda slacked off here (again). I haven’t given poor baby an update in a month! And now baby is SO FREAKING BIG. I can see and feel it moving so much.
Anyway, what’s baby doing, you ask? Well, other than running around like a ferret on my insides, baby is currently:

Well fans…haven’t written in a while. Made the big move from Omaha to Gordon a week and a half ago and have been busy busy at the clinic ever since. So far, the hours have been long but interesting (vs. the long and BORING times in surgery). Having a great time here so far.

Guess what? I can feel the baby moving! I’ve been able to feel it for about a week and half, but didn’t say anything at first ’cause I wasn’t sure. It feels kinda like when your heart skips a beat…but in my belly instead of in my chest.
